How do you guys prepare the car for paint?
Firstly, everything gets washed and degreased, then everything that can be removed, gets removed. This includes but not limited to: Headlights, Taillights, Windshield & Rear Window, Doors, Door Glasses, All Trims, All Body Panels and Sunroof if available. If the vehicle is undergoing a full restoration, it is stripped to bare metal for the most comprehensive repair and finish.
What services do you offer?
Mac’s Custom Haus specialize in Full automotive restorations, custom paint & refinishing, rust repair and metal fabrication, collision repair & panel replacement, bespoke paint and paint correction. We have recently added mechanical repair to our repertoire.
How much does a restoration cost?
Each build is unique and is priced based on the hours required to complete the job. Prices vary based on parts availability and the overall condition of the vehicle. The initial cost of the restoration can be determined after a consultation is booked. Our rates start at $120/hr for body labor & paint refinishing, $175/hour for metal fabrication & welding.
How long does a restoration or paint job take?
Time varies by project condition and material availability. Typical timelines: Complete repaint: 4-8 weeks, Full restoration: 3-12+ months, small repairs: 1-7 days.
Do you work on classic and vintage cars?
Yes- it’s one of our specialties. We restore classic American, European, and JDM vehicles from the ground up.
